The Brooklyn's Children Museum is unveiling its newest project which hopes to provide an immersive learning experience for kids of all ages.
Future Green Studio designed a rooftop oasis atop the facility which features a lush forested area, trails, interactive exhibits and a canopy, all within the heart of the city. The 20,000 square foot terrace has been divided into four themed quadrants: woodland, play, lounge and dining, providing children with am opportunity to deepen their connection with the natural world.
The museum serves an over-arching goal of educating children in interactive ways, a concept which is continued through this dynamic, rooftop space. Through the space, children are able to safely play outdoors after they've checked out some of the exhibits the museum has to offer.
