Unlike most all inclusive ranch resorts, 'CannaCamp' allows guests to bring in marijuana. Set to open on July 1st of this year, the Colorado resort will become the first cannabis-friendly ranch in the US.
Joel Schneider is the head of the management group for CannaCamp and he explains that the new ranch resort is designed to add "an element of luxury to that adventurous, exploratory vibe of childhood summer camp." While the ranch cannot legally provide cannabis to its guests, CannaCamp does allow guests to bring in marijuana. For a minimum three-night stay, each guest has the option of smoking on the porch of their personal cabins, however they are not permitted to use the substance inside.
While CannaCamp may be the first ranch of its kind, other cannabis-friendly vacation spots may soon follow its lead.
