SML designed the 'Lime Flavor' boutique hotel suite in Seoul, South Korea with a distinctive accent color and different modules to serve the different needs of a guest.
The physical space is organized into a "Served Zone," which consists of a bed, desk and TV, as well as the "Servant Zone," made up of the entrance, bathroom, toilet, washbasin and wardrobe along one of the room's walls. In the same way that a citrus fruit has pulp cells, the hotel suite adopts convex and concave modules that are outlined in transparent glass. This effect helps to visually separate different parts of the space, while still creating the sense of an open-concept, boundaryless space.
