This bourbon cocktail is perfect for those who want to get their drank on but also have dietary restrictions. Created by Beth of Tasty Yummies and featured on the Free People blog, the Blood Orange Bourbon Sparkler recipe can also be altered to be virgin as well.
The (potentially) alcoholic beverage consists of freshly squeezed blood orange juice, bourbon, Prosecco or a different sparkling wine and all-natural sweetener like maple syrup or agave. If you prefer a non-alcoholic version, the sparkling wine can be substituted for sparkling water instead. The bourbon cocktail is garnished with fresh mint leafs and orange wedges (either slices or zest will work).
If you are craving a wintery yet citrus-infused libation, this is the one.
