Paintings of people or scenery are always present, but when they are combined into body optical illusions, the artwork that is produced is truly unforgettable. Artist Johannes Stoette has taken the human form and has combined it with nature in order to create beautiful hybrids.
By painting on pictures of frogs, fruits, snakes and flowers, Stoette has been able to evoke a feeling of familiarity while pairing that with optical illusions. These paintings are particularly difficult because not only is the canvas human skin, but also the paintings have to be realistic. If paired up with its doppelganger and the patterns don't match, then the entire piece wouldn't work. Lucky for Stoette, he is incredibly talented and his body optical illusions are stunning works of art.
