The 'V' editorial in Blind Magazine has a beautiful grunge theme that adds to the emotionally strong feel. Photographer Pauline Darley does an amazing job setting up each shot as the theme is continued throughout all of the images.
Veronika was the perfect model for the shoot because of her ability to portray the edginess needed. Her ability to manipulate her body language is especially apparent in many of the photographs. The makeup by Virginie Rascle and hair by Pierre Saint Sever are perfectly done to capture the distressed theme.
One of the best parts about this editorial is the background that was used to highlight the grungy setting. While it definitely isn't a complex design, the subtle textures given to the wall really create a feeling of depth.
