As more companies push towards eco-friendly practices United Caps is now partnering with Braskem to create bio-sourced caps and closures. Made from sugar cane, these two new caps will be offered by United Caps and will be available to its various clients. Braskem will be producing these closures and are constructed from a green Polyethylene bio-plastic resin, which is derived from sugar cane.
The two new bio-sourced caps offered by United Caps will be known as the Victoria and the Proflatseal cap. The Victoria closure features a 30/25 screw closure and is purpose-built for still drinks. The Proflatseal cap is used primarily for dairy products and still drinks and can be used in pressurized and non-pressurized environments.
