With plant-based burgers gracing fast food menus across America, McDonald's Germany is jumping on the bandwagon with its new Big Vegan TS burger. Described as "a meatless alternative with the real McDonald’s taste," the new burger is just about as close as a vegan can get to enjoy the delicious taste of an iconic Big Mac.
The new Big Vegan TS burger is a meat-free take on the typical McDonald's patty. However, instead of beef, the patty is made from a mixture of soy and wheat. The whole thing is then topped with Lollo Bionda lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, red onion, mustard, and ketchup served on a sesame seed bun. The new burger combo is designed to replace the Veggieburger TS at participating McDonald's locations across Germany.
