McKinney creatives Scott Pridgen, Brian Murray and Scott Pridgen recently designed three new labels for Big Boss Brewing. The packaging channels retro typography and advertising with a mix of familiar icons from the worlds of gambling, kustom kulture, retro pin-ups and WWII aviation.
The three Big Boss Brewing beers in this latest edition are the High Roller India pale ale, the Blanco Diablo Belgian-style wit and the Harvest Time ale with spices. Each beer has a distinct color scheme -- red, silver and black, respectively -- and illustrated identity.
What I particularly love about this Big Boss Brewing branding design by McKinney is each label's ability to stand alone as a piece of art. I could easily see these labels printed and sold as posters.
