Shooting underwater can be a slow and laborious task, but it was one Benjamin Von Wong and his team of seven divers and two models took on happily. In an epic underwater photoshoot the Montreal-based photographer travelled to Bali, where he captured these stunning and ethereal shipwreck-featuring shots.
Committed and passionate, Benjamin Vong Wong discusses the process of shooting in these conditions in a behind the scenes vlog. Rather than using professional models who would not have diving experience, he used free divers as his models. Seven more specially trained safety divers were also on hand to ensure the pictures came out perfectly. The Canadian creative shot with a Nikon D90, a 12-24 mm f/4 lens, Aquatica Underwater Housing and natural lighting.
