American knife manufacturer Benchmade has released the 602-211 Gold Class Tengu Tool, a Japanese-inspired pocket blade that has been reworked with premium materials.
The new high-end take on the original Tengu Tool is delivered in identical dimensions, spanning 3.27 inches when opened. The main difference, however, is that the knife's G-10 handles have traded for forged Arctic Storm Fat Carbon scales. In addition, the actual blade has been upgraded from a CPM 20CV steel to a Bi Frost patterned Damasteel construction.
Aesthetically, the new pocket knife boasts a sapphire blue-PVD-coated hardware and blue accent stitching designed to match the brand's premium Gold Class Tengu Flipper. Adding an additional luxury element, the Gold Class Tengu Tool comes packaged in a sharkskin carrying pouch.
