The creative looked to the automaker's M8 Gran Coupe concept car in search for inspiration. The project itself is described by BMW to "recall the color gradients of the mystic and poetic Northern Lights." As a result, the beautiful terrazzo flooring itself evokes subtle hints of blue and green that communicate the striking natural phenomenon. Moreover, the design was done in collaboration with "specialist design-tech flooring brand Aectual" who used a 3D-printed frame to produce the components for the floor.
