Just ahead of Star Wars Day on May 4th, Hudson Hongo created 'Star Wars: Bad Foley Edition' for what should be a dramatic lightsaber fight with Darth Vader. Instead, the movie's sound effects are replaced with sounds so intentionally bad that it's good.
For the Bad Foley version, Hongo uses his voice to create a variety of noises like footsteps, which are made to sound more like the trotting of a horse rather than an actual human's footsteps, and the unsheathing of lightsabers and the fight afterwards sounds more like the noises a toddler might make. The Bad Foley edition is a humorous one that makes the tense situation far more light and comical than it should be for a standoff between the masterful Obi Wan Kenobi and the fearsome Darth Vader.
