Ashley Weeks Cart Takes Baby Chick Photos on Her Family's Farm

These adorable baby chick photos will captivate any animal-lover's soul; photogapher Ashley Weeks Cart took the photos in hopes to do just that. Her blog, Blog a la Cart, is a series of photos that promote the combination of farm and family life. And her most recent photo series includes her family's brood of baby chicks.

The chicks are pictured gallivanting around the farm, interacting with one another and gaining the love of Ashley's five-year-old daughter. Some photos include the fluffy baby birds standing on tiny cups, posing with a toy chicken on a windowsill and perching upon a pair of purple rain boots.

While adorable, many of the photos are equally as comical. One, for example, features the babies taunting the family dog, who seemingly can't do anything about it because he has a cone around his neck.
