The Taxi Fabric Project has now shifted its focus towards auto-rickshaws in the Indian capital Delhi.
The first design was inspired by Vincent van Gogh's famous painting 'The Starry Night,' and mixes classic Indian art and historic architecture. The auto-rickshaws are covered in this vivid fabric from top to bottom, making the experience of being in a rickshaw much more interesting and thought-provoking. Designed with neon-like swirling patterns, the taxi fabric transforms the transportation experience.
The concept is also based around helping the community, with the first autos designed by the project being offered to drivers who have done good for the community. Five of these auto-rickshaws will be inspired by the city while the "other five will focus on gender."
