Netflix Now Lets Users Turn Off the Auto Previews Function
Daniel Johnson — February 10, 2020 — Tech
Netflix has added the capabilities to disable auto previous, which would previously play when users opened the platform. Users can disable previews through the ‘Manage Profiles’ tab in settings, or users can select to disable the feature for all devices. The feature may not be initially available to all users, however changing profiles and back again could allow users to access the new capabilities.
Auto previews have been on the platform for approximately five years, and some users found the feature helpful, while others found it distracting. However the ability to disable it provides a solution for all users on the platform. The feature also increases the customization options for Netflix customers.
