In what may seem like an ordinary stencil, artist ABOVE has created spectacular work that is perfectly timed with the sun.
ABOVE picked a street corner that was in perfect relation to a street sign. By watching the shadows that were being produced onto the adjacent building, he created a stencil that would react with the shadows that are being thrown. He created a man who was doing a B-Boy move: a stall on his hand. When the shadow is just right, it looks as though this stencil is stalling on the sign. Artist ABOVE picked the perfect medium to showcase the way artists can work with nature, and when done correctly, the two combined can create something amazing.
