YOSHIROTTEN Unveils Large-Scale Installation 'SUN' Art Exhibition

Japanese contemporary artist YOSHIROTTEN has revealed a new sun-inspired art exhibition titled 'SUN.' YOSHIROTTEN is known for his work across multiple fields, from designing for fashion brands to advertisement visuals and commercial spaces.YOSHIROTTEN's 'SUN' art exhibition released early previews through forms of video screenings at Shibuya's Rainbow Disco Club in Yamanashi and an audiovisual performance at MUTEKI.JP.
The art exhibition consists of 365 digital images illustrating the sun in various media formats, including installations, aluminum prints, NFT, vinyl records, and books. Specifically, the 365 images were painted by hand using digital drawing tools. To showcase these artworks, several of them are displayed through monolithic figures, giant LED screens, projections, and environmental music. The art exhibition will be open on April 1 and 2 as well as shown at the parking lot of the National Stadium in Tokyo, which contains 2000 square meters of space.
