If you want to try one of the best artisanal roasters in the world that's both delicious and sustainable, then head down to Kona, Hawaii, and try the farm-to-roastery-to-cup experience at Daylight Mind Coffee Company (DMCC).
Recently opened, DMCC is a whole lot more than just a traditional coffee house, and roaster -- it's also a restaurant, a bakery, a bar and, most importantly, a coffee school.
Offering Hawaiian coffees grown on small farms, the artisanal roasters offer a cup of coffee that is lush, deep and worth the trip down to Hawaii.
"It's about having coffee as an experience. Some people want something more out of it, and we think that there's something more to get out of coffee. From a physical level, a psychological level, and obviously an academic level, so that's something we want to offer. We want to be a resource, a place that explores great things with coffee," says Shawn Steiman the Chief Science Officer at Daylight Mind Coffee Company.
