True North Ale Company, which is based in Ipswich, Massachusetts, is announcing a new year-round offering in the form of a deliciously juicy IPA that deftly manages to combine pleasing hop scents with a hazy appearance and a fruity taste bill that combines a hint of arboreal flavor.
The 'Straight Up IPA' is a beer that uses dry-hopping, with a combination of Simcoe, Idaho 7 and Mosaic hops resulting in a beer that brings forth an array of aromas reminiscent of tropical climes, including orange, tangerine citrus, stone fruit, apricot as well as a slightly dank pineapple.
Coming in at 6.4 percent ABV, the 'Straight Up IPA' is an unabashedly hazy and juicy IPA that is available in stores and bars around Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.
“More and more beer enthusiasts are looking for an IPA that pours clear with a lighter body but still carries the amazing hops character of today’s IPA,” said True North Ale Company's founder. “Hazy, juicy IPAs remain strong and we expect Northern Haze and Straight Up to complement each other in satisfying a broad audience.”
