The Armada House is situated in beautiful Victoria BC, Canada, and is surrounded by the forest in all directions with a view of the water. Oftentimes lakeside abodes and architecture in the wilderness has a scaled-down look, as people usually come to these spaces for a quick getaway. However, this house is more like a mansion in the middle of nowhere.
The house works well with the natural elements, a development seen in a few architectural designs as of late. Many designers are opting for materials such as timber both inside and out, with a glass facade so that everything blends in with the endless trees. The Armada House is no different, as huge windows are situated in the front area to allow ample light to get through, with wood accenting throughout.
