This bright, ultramodern Arielle Shoshana fragrance boutique in Fairfax, Viriginia is the first dedicated fragrance store of its kind in the DC area. The store is laid out to be a sensorial, aromatic experience and has its scents organized by dominant notes. Customers are asked to shop by "note," and do so by standing in a certain "orientation point" where they can lean forward to experience it more thoroughly.

Each of the wooden cubes is lined with rose-gold, champagne or brass metal and much of the architecture is constructed in an orthogonal fashion.
