The New York version of the Architectural Model Accessories Series is a bite-sized representation of the melting pot of cultures that populate the Big Apple.
Created by Japanese artist Terada Mokei, the NYC Subway edition of the popular model series replicates various attributes from the underground transportation system, at 1/100th of the size.
Mokei’s sixth addition to the series includes everything that one would expect to find on the New York streets that house underground subway stations. From police officers and hot dog stands to “normal people” and “very fat people,” as the site itself lists, the model is intended to represent all of the different walks of life that frequent the NYC subway system.
