San Diego-based Funhouse Tattoo and augmented reality app Skin Motion joined forces to make it possible for people to get next-gen AR tattoos that are paired with sounds. Skin Motion is an augmented reality app that generates real-time audio playback from Soundwave tattoos, and just a handful of tattoo shops are certified in creating Soundwave tattoos.
After an audio recording has been uploaded to Skin Motion's website, it is analyzed and then turned into a waveform stencil.
