Samsung and advertising agency BBH Singapore worked with a series of designers and miniature model artists from around the world to create a series of virtual appliance showrooms that can be accessed on Instagram. These virtual shops serve to replace traditional department stores, which are on the decline, and help to reach a younger subset of consumers.
The shoppable experience unfolds on the @SamsungThailand account and it invites social media users to browse curated styles like Dark Academia and Eclectic Nostalgic; while the former features walls of books, quiet corners, soft fabrics and rich hues, the latter expresses a different theme with framed works of art, "curated clutter" and a mix of patterns, prints and antiques.
