The Analogue Nt is trying to do something video game designers, techies and hardcore gamers have wanted and tried to do for years: bring the old NES back. The NES is hailed as the greatest gaming console of all time by video game purists and there have been varying levels of recreations for the gaming deity. The Analogue Nt may be the true successor though as it will play the old games with a new twist.
Messing with what works can be a deadly thing, just ask the PS3 developers when they refused to add in backward compatibility when it came out. The Analogue Nt isn't messing with the formula too much though as it will be bringing the same old games (along with some Famicom games) and simply upgrading the audio and visuals to today's standards.
