The Ambulance Garage House by Doepel Strijkers lives up to its name: it was once an ambulance garage before this contemporary designed home located on the borders of a secluded park. It’s an exclusive spot for a beautiful home in the center of Rotterdam. The home is surrounded by an abundance of greenery; a massive glass window facing the park brings life into the room.
A dugout style kitchen creates a protruding second floor platform, which emphasizes the elevated ceiling. The kitchen is located in the middle of the home; a staircase leads you down to the kitchen and straight to the back of the home where the glass facade brings outdoor life inside. The straight cut designs and open space is noticeable and you cannot miss the cupboards, staircases and kitchen that’s plastered in bright orange. With a color-popping kitchen and a secluded park in the backyard, it’s an orange and green haven here.
