'All.ai,' pronounced "ally" is an intelligent smartphone application that's tackling gender diversity in the workplace. Women are often ignored, overlooked or find it intimidating to speak up in workplace meetings, speaking an average 25% less than men do. This is why a team at BBC's 100 Women Challenge, collaborated in the making of this app, which uses artificial intelligence to encourage women to speak their minds, while reminding men to listen.
The app records and listens to its surroundings once opened, picking up the tones and emotions detected within a boardroom meeting. The app offers real-time analytics, which comprehensively displays the speaking time of the user. The app was designed to provide curious individuals with the motivation to speak more during meetings, and will even offer motivational goals, such as "make at least 5 points," which can be tracked through the app.
