The new photo and interview book 'All the People' by writer Emily Besa and photographer Bernd Ott, shows beauty existing outside the gender binary.
Funded via a Kickstarter campaign and launched at Trans Pride in Amsterdam, the book features 36 stunning portraits and touching interviews. The gender-nonconforming subjects of 'All the People' share their stories of discovering identities outside the male and female divide. Besa avoided using gendered or categorizing labels in her writing, respecting the fluidity of the gender spectrum. In this spirit, Ott photographed the participants of 'All the People' how and wherever they chose.
'All the People' is yet another celebration of non-traditional gender expression, a topic which has exploded in the wake of Caitlyn Jenner's Vanity Fair cover and the surrounding media coverage.
