Reebok and Mountain Research Launch Another Alien Stomper Design
Tokyo-based technical label Mountain Research works in collaboration with Reebok to launch another colorway of the Alien Stomper design. This time around, the shoe takes on a black colorway, as the first launch was delivered in white.
The shoes are a reminiscent design as it was originally introduced onset in 1986 worn by Ellen Ripley when filming Aliens. The sneakers are designed in a retro-futuristic manner with all-black covering the entire upper delivered in a leather design reading "KEEP STRAPPED TO HOLD FIRMLY" on the lace flap. On the ankle, it reads "FOLD OVER AND TURN OVER AFTER GOING THRU EYELET." Finally, the heel finishes off the prints with the words "NEVER BEEN TO THE MOON."
