Amazon newly launched a program called Alexa Answers, which lets anyone provide an answer for a question that Alexa does not have a response for yet. Last year, the program launched as part of an invite-only test period for thousands of selected Amazon Alexa users and in that time, Amazon was successful in making its AI voice assistant even more knowledgeable.
When an Amazon Alexa user asks a question and gets a response that was submitted as part of this program, Alexa will note that the presented information is "according to an Amazon customer."
Online, those who wish to submit a response are able to search for the questions that match their interests and expertise, and every time Alexa shares a user's answers, they get points, achievements and recognition as a contributor.
