Albert Reyes is an extremely talented artist from California who uses scraps of paper and a graphite pencil to create his drawings. His drawings are inspired by African American pop culture icons including Snoop Dogg and Michael Jackson.

Albert Reyes is interested in the interaction between those controlling the industry and its consumers. He hopes to send a message to his audience by combining different aspects of highbrow and lowbrow culture. His drawings are very sketch-like, and although very detailed and well-done, bare urban and hoodlike qualities.
