This Halloween, Airheads is hosting its first AI horror film festival, A.I.RHEADS SCAREFEST, featuring a series of short films created with the aid of artificial intelligence. "AI is such a hot topic and everyone loves a good scary flick on Halloween, so we thought why not try our luck in Hollywood this year," said Craig Cuchra, VP of Marketing at Perfetti Van Melle, maker of Airheads candy.
For the film festival, filmmakers were challenged to create an AI-generated Halloween-themed film that incorporated the famous Airheads balloon in some way, with elements of horror and humor. All films are under three minutes long, and viewers who are inspired can try their hand at creating an AI short horror film of their own and submit it for a chance to win a year's supply of Airheads candy.
