'TuneIn' Now Offers a Premium Tier and Ad-Free Radio

The ad-free radio streaming app 'TuneIn' has updated itself, offering a premium tier version that eliminates all commercials from the radio channels. DJ's of the radio stations involved select songs specifically for TuneIn users to listen to while the commercials are going on for other listeners, adding a special appeal.

The updated premium version allows access to 600 global radio stations without commercials. Of the 100,000 channels, those selected to be offered with no commercials are the most popular stations among users. In addition to ad-free radio, this platform also provides access to all Major League Baseball broadcasts as well as 40,000 audiobooks.

For the person who wants to have their music curated for them, the TuneIn app joins the many subscription services gaining popularity with consumers who are willing to pay a little extra money for a personalized experience.
