For the creation of each of its new collections, ONU works with a different designer to create wildly innovative new ideas that offer an exploration of different activewear fabrics. For its 'Collection 3,' ONU worked with designer Karina Kulig to create 'Air and Light,' which takes inspiration from a geometric detail in Brazilian architecture that offers greater airflow and heat reduction.
For the collection, ONU created two innovative activewear fabrics to capture the spirit of air and light; Arlyte is infused with a blend of nanoized jade, which "dissipates heat and absorbs it slowly, with sweat-wicking and anti-odor properties to keep you cool and fresh." Umorfil is a biodegradable fiber that comes from recycled fish scales, which boasts UV protection and moisture management properties.
In ONU's Collection 3, these fabrics are used to create everything from t-shirts and trousers to jackets and dresses.
