'33needs' is a Website Helping to Start Companies with Purpose

Almost a year ago, Tech Crunch inadvertently gave 33 needs the most ideal and clickable slogan: "Kiva meets Kickstarter." What that means, is that this website offers a platform for social businesses and social enterprises exclusively to raise the capital they need to start a business. Sustainability, then, becomes the goal.
The brain behind 33needs is Josh Tetrick, who has previously been a Fulbright Scholar who worked in Africa and for President Clinton. Not too shabby. He considers 33needs as a place for brands to start, that is, a place for social businesses to build communities for the long run and not just somewhere to get cash, that is, something simply akin to an angel investor.
