Without an initial close look at your flash drive and the computer's port, you've got a 50/50 chance of inserting the device correctly on your first attempt. The 2-Top USB key guarantees proper insertion every single time, because it can be read in either orientation.
This fairly simple modification to the memory stick was made by Shen Shurun and Deng Xingxing of Anhui Jianzhu University. Even with its two-faced assembly, the duo managed to make it about half of the thickness of most of the pen drives on the market. This extra flatness renders the 2013 Red Dot concept increasingly portable, especially in combination with its miniature carabiner clip. The 2-Top USB stick gets additional desirability points for the range of bright colors in which it comes.
