'Trulieve,' the United States-based cannabis company, has announced the launch of the '4.20 for All' NFT collection. The NFTs were designed around celebrating the diverse communities and cultures that use Trulieve's products. As such, each NFT depicts a different-colored hand holding a cannabis-related item, such as an edible, a vape pen, or a flower. With this NFT collection, Trulieve has become the first multi-state operating cannabis company to enter the Metaverse.
The NFTs debuted on April 2nd at 1 p.m EST, exactly 420 hours before April 20th, which is an homage to the nationally recognized cannabis holiday. There will be 10 different NFTs, each of which with 42 copies to a total of 420 NFTs auctioned. The NFTs cost 0.42 Ethereum, which is approximately $1,450 USD. All proceeds from the sale of this collection will be donated to 'Last Prisoner Project,' a non-profit organization dedicated to helping free individuals in prison for non-violent cannabis-related convictions.
