From Tree-Shaped Houses to Minimalist Micro-Cabins
Jamie Danielle Munro — April 2, 2014 — Art & Design
From tree-shaped houses to buildings that blend in seamlessly with their surroundings, these examples of nature-inspired architecture are perfect for anyone who has a constant love for the outdoors.
Many of these examples include cabins in the woods, most of which are made out of timber to keep up with that outdoor vibe. One design by Osumi Yuzo features a retractable wood door, which at the push of a button can open and close, making it hard to decipher this house from its natural surroundings. The result is great however for those inside, as they can get some peace and quiet which is usually unattainable in a more bustling metropolis.
Anyone who needs a break from the urban environment will love looking at these tree-shaped houses and wrap-around wooded buildings.
