From Elderly Superhero Depictions to Senior Superheroes

Comic book heroes are usually viewed as strong, determined and tough; however, when you put a creative twist on these characters they can become the complete opposite, as demonstrated in these quirky superhero re-imaginations.
Many artists have come up with some of the most whimsical, playful and artistic interpretations of some of the comic book world's finest heroes. Sometimes these characters are presented in an abstract manner through illustrations and paintings. Other times, they've been parodied as the average joe going through everyday problems that individuals in real life deal with. Either way, viewers are shown that outside of comic books, superheroes are multi-dimensional figures with personalities outside of how Marvel or DC portrays them.
