From Frog Leg Pizza to Fast Food Pizza Toppings
Laura McQuarrie — August 20, 2013 — Unique
If you're a pizza lover who is hesitant to venture beyond your usual order of pepperoni or Hawaiian pizza, these pizza toppings will definitely be out of your comfort zone.
Although they are considered delicacies in some parts of the world, insects, frog legs and clams are the last thing you'd expect to find on top of this cheesy Italian fast food. Another example of extreme decadence is a pizza that goes for $250 a slice, topped with caviar, creme fraiche, crab and lobster.
Not all of these pizzas are so exorbitantly priced, but they are all outrageous and outside the norm. If you take comfort in eating fast foods, you'll have twice the enjoyment of eating a pizza topped with other fast foods like hamburgers, poutine and smaller pizzas.
