The October 2020 sports trends highlight the latest in fitness apparel and accessories, workout gear, remote classes, and much more.
Ahead of its annual run, Michelob ULTRA announced that it would be partnering with fitness-tracking app Strava to make its Ultra Night Run virtual, while still enabling participants to stay connected with one another through the app's remote tracking capabilities. In addition to bringing athletes of all skill levels together to complete a 5 or 10KM race at their own pace, the brand seeks to raise funds for Food Banks Canada by donating one meal to someone in need for every kilometer that's run.
Another notable feature comes from Peloton, as the home fitness company has added a Barre class to its workout library. Taking cues from ballet training, Peloton Barre is led by two former dancers, Ally Love and Hannah Corbin.
