From Seaweed Accentuated Lamps to Octopus Cakes

Nautical designs take inspiration from the deep blue waters that cover most of our planet. There are so many types of creatures living under the water's surface with different forms and abilities to take inspiration from. Artists, architects and designers are creating works that mimic traits of underwater creatures like luminescence, hydrodynamic forms and deadly attributes like a shark's teeth.
Above the surface of the water, nautical designs draw inspiration from boats, sailors and creatures that frequent the shoreline like crabs and on unfortunate occasions, beached whales. For those away from the water, products like these inspire the feeling of relaxation by the seaside.
The sea is so deep that we have yet to uncover all its secrets, making it an incredible source of inspiration for designs.
