You can't truly call yourself a marine biologist or whale lover unless you have an Orca Nutcracker sitting somewhere in your kitchen. Designed by Designnobis & Dr. Hakan Gürsu, the Orca Nutcracker is a sleek tool designed to crack nuts of any shape and size.
I can't help but think of the iconic orca whale Willy when I see this nutcracker. Designnobis & Dr. Hakan Gürsu haven't done anything groundbreaking with this design, but it is nice to see designers thinking outside the box when creating common everyday tools like nutcrackers. Personally, I would love to see a whole line of kitchen appliances and utensils inspired by sea creatures. I'm talking grey whale pepper shakers and jellyfish jam jars. Make it happen guys.
