With the economy still in its recovering stages, the Girl Scouts too, have been hit by the economic downturn. The most recent council to take the hit are the Thank U Berry Munch Girl Scout cookies. Due to the recession, the Girl Scouts are cutting back on packaging and the types of cookies they sell.

It's depressing news, but these tasty cookie features may be a reminder that there are better options than buying 'Thin Mints' cookies at the door.
