From Tetra Packaged Wines to Green Notebook Packaging

Manufacturers have created a number of eco-friendly designs in which to encase their products. In the slideshow below, you'll see plantable packaging that sprouts spruce trees, compostable packaging, moss used instead of packing peanuts, and plenty of waste-free packaging integrated into the product itself.
My favorite eco-friendly packaging design is the reindeer moss Coto stuffs their boxes with. It looks great and is even better for the Earth.
Implications - The eco-movement informs the values of a large cross-section of society. These consumers value waste reduction and product-efficient planning. Companies that can promote their waste reduction strategies in unique and potentially viral ways will foster a deeper connection to these consumers and need to spend less on advertising.
