Spotlighting Danish Design from Copenhagen to Aalborg
Michael Hines — March 1, 2011 — Art & Design
Design fans are definitely going to want to spend some time clicking through all of these dashing Danish designs. The Danes are known for their functional and minimalist designs, no-frills furniture, electronics and fashion that is both functional and eye-catching.
The unquestioned center of Danish design, and perhaps modern design itself, is the Danish capital of Copenhagen. Copenhagen's Danish Design Center (DDC), built by famed Danish architect Henning Larsen, houses exhibits highlighting the work of both classic and young Danish designers. It wouldn't surprise me in the least to find any one of these dashing Danish designs behind the walls of the DDC.
