Companies are Hungry for Attention in These Shocking Advertisements
Elise Ying-Hei Ho — September 21, 2012 — Marketing
Whether it's to promote awareness for a worthy cause or for pure shock value, cannibalistic ad campaigns are definitely an eye-catcher.
Although some may feel that it's immensely unethical to even conceive or display anything pertaining to cannibalism, it is definitely an effective and memorable advertising strategy. Striking and sure to spark conversation, this type of marketing is very beneficial. Despite this, I will admit that some of these ads are quite off-putting. I would not eat any food that must be extracted from a human body, artificial or not, nor would I want to eat or be near any food that is cooked in human fat.
Make sure you can stomach these blood-hungry stomach-churning ads before you start browsing through. You have been warned.
