From Artfully Weaponized Literature to Fragrance Firearms
Michael Hines — August 19, 2011 — Art & Design
No matter where you stand on the issue of gun control, it is hard to deny the allure of all of these artistic firearm finds. Firearms are widely known to be symbols of war, but they can also be tools used to foster creativity and peace as proved here.
Many of these artistic firearm finds were created to push for peace. The skeletal GFBV campaign features rifles made out of human remains, a chilling reminder as to just how terrible gun violence can be. However, not all of these pieces are designed to make the world a better place. Some are designed to make a social statement, such as the fragrance firearms created by Massimo Gammacurta. Others, like the porcelain pistol and Uzi, are designed simply to be awesome. You can check out each of these artistic firearm finds in all of their nonlethal glory here.
