The war on smoking is not new, but these innovative anti-smoking campaigns are. No longer are the dangers of smoking sugarcoated and smokers politely encouraged to quit. These in-your-face anti-smoking ad campaigns are graphic, thought-provoking and even shocking.
These anti-smoking ad campaigns feature dismembered bodies, suicide simulations, innocent children, and visceral interactive posters. They're far more direct and graphic than the placid warnings on cigarette boxes and print ads, and intentionally so. Sometimes all it takes is a potentially offensive graphic to inspire someone to kick an unsavory and dangerous habit.
